playin' around...

I just had to try the turn-out gear on for size :) It's heaver than I thought and I COULN'T walk in the boots. It would help if they were the right size, but if I tried to walk up or down stairs I for sure would fall... I wouldn't be too dependable on the job falling down the stairs :)

Firefighters in action...

I was watching the afternoon session of General Conference when I heard knocking at the door. I thought...who could that be?? It was Steve...what a suprise!! The fire alarm was going off in the building across the parking lot so naturally the fire department responds... while they were waiting the guys told Steve to come up and say hi :) I loved it!!! Of course it was a fast hello and back to work, but still fun anyways!

All 3 trucks respond to a fire call...

B Crew at work...Steve, Amy, Dillon, Kenny, and I couldn't tell who the other two are?? :) The fire alarm was going off, but no fire luckly:) They don't know what set the alarm off.

We bought a house!!!

2 story with unfinished basement...3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths

We are adding cement on the left side from the driveway to the retaining wall and back about mid way of the house. The retaining wall on both sides isn't actually in this pic because this was

taken before it was put in, but you get the drift :)

The door in the center goes to the unfinished basement and the door on the right goes to the garage.

This is the master bath with a 6 ft. jetted tub/shower :) yay!

This whole wall is the walk in closet in the master bedroom...we love the size of the master bedroom...

it is soooo big:) And the bedrooms are good sized too:)

There are 3 bedrooms and a room 1/2 the size of a bedroom (an office or kids toy room someday? although it does have a closet) upstairs. There is also a separate good sized laundry room upstairs... another yay!!

Deer Hunting...

This weekend we went deer hunting out of Big Piney with our family! Steve got a thick 3 point deer... Great job Stevo!!!

We also went to lunch in La Barge, WY and ate here. This restaurant use to be in New York, but someone bought it and moved it all the way out to WY :) It is in all the batman and spiderman movies so it was cool to eat here.

This was funny...They were teaching me how to push down trees...they just push regular trees standing up right over :) Everyone was amazed I had never done it before so they had to show me how it's done :)

Last Summer Bash...

Last weekend Steve and I went to Bear Lake with a bunch of friends...11 people total to be exact :) It was a blast and we got some awesome wakeboarding in!! It was a beautiful weekend and we had late nights playing games such as "who am I" and an intense grass volleyball game (and when I say intense I mean INTENSE)!! Totally fun...thanks everyone!!

Steve breaks 40 ...

Today was the first time Steve broke 40 playing golf… he shot a 39!!!! He said there must have been something wrong with him to play that good of golf :) His previous personal best was a 42, which is still awesome, but he out did himself again!! Don't bother looking at my score... I am still a beginner compared to him. My goal is always to shoot under 8 on every hole. I did pretty good, except on three holes, as you can tell by those big ugly 10's written in the spaces :)

GO COWBOYS!!!!!

This weekend we went to the WYO/Texas game in Laramie...it was awesome!! They had one great half of football against #2 ranked team in the Nation!! Sooooo fun... we LOVE Cowboy Football!

The score when we were winning!! Texas scored right before half time, making the score 13-10 Texas...

Steve ended up taking an overtime shift and couldn't come, but his brother Brice was a great game day buddy :)

After the game, we went to dinner in Centennial and then back to watch a movie. We watched "Taking Chance". If you have ever seen it, it is a tear jerker for sure. I just had to take this picture!! Brice has a smaller apartment and all of his couch set doesn't fit so he has this couch and a recliner. They were nice during the movie and I got the recliner and they packed on the small couch...great pic!!



I found some other pictures I thought would be fun to add to this post. We loved going to the University of Wyoming and had some great times and great friends there... here are some memories.


We went to the GOLD Ball with a bunch of our friends. They had a nice dinner and dance after so it was fun to dress up and have a fun date night out with our friends. Pistol Pete always made an appearance of course :)



This was one of our Halloween parties. We loved Halloween parties in college... they were a BLAST!! I still lol at Steve's hair!!!
