Lander, WY it is....

I was offered a job in Lander, WY yesterday, so it is official, my first real job. I will be teaching 7-8th grade at Starrett Junior High and quite passably the head volleyball coach for the 8th grade girls also. It is a great fit for me so we are excited. They have a younger staff, have tons of equipment, and will let me teach the way I want. Now we just have to find Steve a job!! We will be living here in Green River until the end of the summer so we can save money :) Anyways, it is exciting! WOO HOO!

Ruth Crafty ? What?

Cathy and I took a quilting class together and this is what we made. It was a beginner class and it was fun to learn how to machine quilt all the different, neat ways. It was a good starter for me and I had fun. I did the serpentine stitch on this quilt. It is the easiest for me:)

New Summer Look

I got a hair cut today and she took off 8-9 inches:) All the hair could have made a wig! Anyways, it feels great and I like it, so it was worth the nervous feeling.

Congratulations Steve

Steve's graduation was in Laramie this weekend. It was fun to be with family and to have us both finally be done :) Steve graduated with his BA Degree in Secondary Social Studies Teaching.

SPUR OF THE MOMENT Weekend Getaway !!!

This last weekend we were going to go to Idaho to visit a friend, but she cancelled, so Steve price-lined a hotel room for 45 dollars and we went to have some fun in Salt Lake...

The flowers are beautiful; I love the pink, yellow and orange colors!!!

We went to the Salt Lake Temple and went through a session. We hadn't done the live session since our wedding, so it was neat to return.

We went to Memory Park. This was a fun pic because I caught it as I was pushing Steve into the water. It only got his forearms wet, but what a real action shot!!!


Steve was hoping I would fall in. He kept telling me to be careful.
We also got to see our friend Andy and we all went hot tubing and to the movie. We saw Baby Mama. It was pretty funny! :)
