*****Happy Valentines Day******

This was Steve's Valentines present to me! It is hard to tell from the pic, but he bought my favorite Carmel kisses and cut out tiny squares of tinfoil. He individually wrapped them with the tin foil and had his own typed romantic sayings coming out of the top of each one. Then he put all the kisses inside the big tinfoil and wrapped them up into one big kiss for me to open and see what was inside. He had a big strip coming out of the big kiss saying" Will you be my valentine?" Isn't he romantic!! I just love him. We have a rule that we can only spend 3 dollars because we like to see how creative, fun, and personal we can get.

Last night after Steve was in bed, I took the letters I cut out to spell "I love you" out and taped them to things he uses in the bathroom in the morning. There was one letter on the toilet seat, towel, hair gel, toothbrush, and so on. Then I had a poster with "Happy Valentine’s Day" written backwards on it and taped it up behind the mirror. This way he would have a surprise when he looked in the mirror. Then the main present was on the mirror. I made the “sweet pink ticket" that has 10 things I wrote out he can redeem at any time he wants.

Steve has parent teacher conferences tonight until 8:30 or later, so we don't have much of an evening planned, but it was still a fun Valentine’s Day!!

Creative Stevo

Cathy had all her scrapbooking materials out and Steve decided to get creative. I walked into the computer room where he was working and he had a surprise for me. He thinks it is not good, but I love it!!!

Decrepit Dinosaurs vs Students

Last night was a big game for Steve. Before the game, he decided to do some lunges to get warmed up. His pants were so high he couldn't go all the way down comfortably. He never would have thought he would be wearing the green, but he did :). There was a basketball game: Teachers vs. Students. It was a fund raiser for Make a Wish that the High School was putting on. Cathy and I went to watch Stevo dominate! It was a lot of fun. Steve had some 3's and awesome drives. Of course the teachers won all of the games and had total domination.

IT'S OFFICIAL !!!

When I graduated, I had to send a bunch of paperwork and money to the Professional Teaching Standards Board to get THIS certificate. It states I am certified to teach k-12 Physical Education. Four years and thousands of dollars later, it is official! Now, I just need to frame it.

Superbowl Party at the Casey's

I made our family's favorite dip- 7 layer dip or also called taco dip. Looks good doesn't it. I was craving it and only make it for special occasions, like this one. We now have the biggest T.V. because we are living with the in-laws, so we invited four of our friends to share in the festivities! Our friend Adam said this is the only day, besides Thanksgiving, we can be gluttons’!! There was a ton of food and oh it was good :)

Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed... Christmas Morning

We are all waiting to run down the stairs to see what Santa brought us. It is tradition in Steve's family to sit and wait on the stairs while mom starts the fire. OH and it seems to take soooo long as a little kid:)

2 Days Before Christmas

Strike a POSE!!! Our lovely couple picture next to the Christmas tree in our new location in Green River :) We are living with Steve's parents while he student teaches at the high school. They can never get rid of us, but they hope for the best. We will be here until we find teaching jobs for the next school year.

Enjoying the Winter Wonderland

Christmas break was a lot of fun! We went to White Pine in Pinedale with Steve's family. Steve is a skier and I snowboard, so we make quite the match :) We try to go as often as we can because it is an activity we both enjoy.
